FRESHER'S DAY CELEBRATIONS
The department of Botany and Microbiology has celebrated the fresher's day celebration which is filled with lots of fun and joy.The day was with full of life and energy.Fr.principal Dr.S.Emmanuel,Fr.vice principal blessed the students ,senior faculty members Dr J.C.Rao and B.Siva Kumari encouraged the students by explaining the future aspects of biology. Congrats to all the 2nd and 3rd year students for making this day a memorable one for the 1st years and giving them the right spirit to do well in the coming academic year.The entire programe was well organised by Mr.Ch.Chinappa and Mr.Franscis Sagar Reddy Chairman of the association.

REPORT ON NAAC VISIT;
The NAAC peer teem members visited Andhra Loyola College on 8th, 9th &
10th April, 2008. All the Departments arranged their activities in a good manner. They
Visited Botany Dept on 8th April at 9.45 am, first they enter in to the gardens and they saw the different varieties of plants. Later they moved to dept and they interact with the Staff. Faculty members explained about the curriculum, research, extension and various types of Student progression activities. The Peer team members are felt happy with all the innovative practices performed by the Dept from the last five years.
